Cultivating Trust, Tradition & Excellence Since 1947
For over seven decades, Sardar Brand Seeds has been a trusted name in the Indian seed industry, proudly rooted in tradition, service, and farmer-first values. Our journey began in 1947, when Sardar Dayal Singh Ji, along with his son Sardar Trilok Singh Ji, migrated to Jodhpur during the partition of India. In 1951, they established Bharat General Seeds Store, laying the foundation of a business that would grow to become a symbol of quality and trust across the nation.
With a deep commitment to honesty, integrity, and agricultural innovation, Sardar Ji’s seeds quickly earned widespread recognition. In 1996, the legacy was carried forward by Sardar Gurmukh Singh Ji, who formalized the venture under the name Sardar Seeds Company. This marked a new era of growth, with the brand becoming a household name among farmers throughout India.
Continuing this legacy of excellence, we founded Sardar Seeds Company Private Limited in 2005. Today, the company harnesses advanced agricultural technologies to produce superior-quality, high-yielding seeds. Our mission is simple yet impactful: to empower farmers with reliable, scientifically-backed seed solutions that ensure better productivity and profitability.
We take pride in delivering every pack of seeds with the trusted name Sardar®, a registered trademark, now synonymous with purity, performance, and precision in Indian agriculture.
