Sowing season is Summer and Kharif in month of Feb.-March, June-July under tropical and sub tropical climate. Seed Rate 3.5 to 6 kg/ha and spacing 180-200 cm/line, 60-120 cm/plant. Farm yard manure 10-15 MT/ha. NKP 25 : 30 : 30 and micronutrients as per soil requirement to be used. 8 to 10 irrigation at appropriate interval is to be given.
