Radish Palak Patta - Farming Guide

Sowing season is Rabi & Kharif during temperate climate in the month of Sept. to December at seeds rate of 6 to 11.5 kg/ha. and spacing of 20-30 cm. Farm yard manure 25-40 MT/ha. NKP 50 : 50 : 50 and micronutrients as per soil requirement to be given.

8-10 irrigation at appropriate interval to be done. It's root are medium to large tender smooth and pure white with tapering end. Leaves are erect with serated margin.

Crop duration is 50-60 days and yield potential of 100-150 Qtl root/ha. Yield is effected by high temperature, heavy rain, climatic condition, soil health, PH of water and pest and insect attack.
