Radish Farming Guide

Sowing season is Rabi during temperate climate in the month of Sept. to December at seeds rate of 5.5 to 11 kg/ha. and spacing of 20-30 cm. Farm yard manure 25-40 MT/ha. NKP 50 : 50 : 50 and micronutrients as per soil requirement to be given.

5-6 irrigation at appropriate interval to be done.

Crop duration is 50-60 days and yield potential of 150-200 Qtl root/ha. Yield is effected by high temperature, heavy rain, climatic condition, soil health, PH of water and pest and insect attack.
