Sowing season is Summer & rainy during Feb.-March, June-July under tropical and subtropical zone, Seed Rate is 12-15 kg./ha., Spacing is 40-60 or 10-15 cm. Farm yard manure 15-20 MT/ha. and NKP 20 : 50 : 50. No of irrigation is 8-9 at a intervals 5-10 days depending on weather.
Crop duration is 85-90 days having yield potential of 60-75 Qtl green pod and 10-12 Qtl Seed/ha.
Yield is effected by high temperature, heavy rain, climatic condition, soil health, PH of water and pest and insect attack.
