Crop is sown during Summer & Kharif season under tropical and subtropical climate in month of Feb.-March, June-July. Seed Rate is 4-5 kg./ha. Spacing is 60x100 or 150x 200 cm.
Farm yard manure 20-25 MT/ha. NKP 20 : 30 : 30 and micronutrients as per soil requirement. Crop duration is 100-110 days require 8-10 irrigation at intervals of 8-10 days.
Yield potential 100-150 Qtl/ha. Yield is effected by high temperature, heavy rain, climatic condition, soil health, PH of water and pest and insect attack.
